We deliver assistance to affected populations before, during and after crisis situations. GHIV Africa was founded to mitigate the health deficit in Africa and to provide all forms of assistance leading to improved quality of life.
The organization is equally poised to support the delivery of healthcare services at the doorsteps of every African village by bridging the gap between primary health care delivery and tertiary health care services through a robust referral system. Job Summary
The objective of the Logistics and Procurement Manager role at GHIV Africa is to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Supply Chain department, ensuring the efficient and effective management of all logistics and procurement activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
This role is designed to:
Coordinate all procurements as per GHIV Africa processes, systems and procedures
Lead in the development of Framework Agreements and Contracts
Oversee procurement requirements of the program; implement procurement as per approved guidelines, procedures and forms (Purchase Orders, Goods Received Notes)
Manage all tender procurements, coordinate and lead in tender evaluations
Ensure that purchasing documents are complete and archived in keeping with GHIV Africa procedures
Coordinate call for Tender documents
Ensure that budgetary lines related to logistics are monitored and observed
Supervise the update of price lists and supplier files
Monitor stock dispatch, drivers and fleet controls: authorised use of vehicles; key control; logbooks; fuel cards; tools and equipment
Enforcing Routine vehicle checks by drivers using a vehicle daily checklist
Perform market analysis and supplier sourcing of identified strategic markets.
Work with Head of Program to define Procurement strategies
Ensure that GHIV Africa staff are fully trained and knowledgeable about the requirements of GHIV Africa Procurement manual
Ensures that any donor requirements that affects the logistics procedures are notified to staff in time.

Education and Essential Requirements
Studies: MSc, B.Sc. in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Purchasing or Supply Chain Management or any related field
Experience: 3 years’ relevant experience in working with NGO
Language: English is mandatory and one of the local dialects is an added advantage.
IT: Good knowledge of MS Office Word, PowerPoint and advance MS Office Excel Knowledge
Quick learner, Ability to work autonomously, Excellent organizational skills, Flexibility to meet deadline, Hard worker.
