Job Title: Process Analyst

Role Purpose
Responsible for monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with set standards, analyzing process information to define operational problems, recommending solutions towards enhancement of process improvement, increasing customer satisfaction, and overall increase of business profitability. Also, note that the work arrangement is on a shift basis.
Job Description
Ensure continuous monitoring of production processes in the Dairies factory for compliance with the Company’s Manufacturing Specifications and in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensure adherence to the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plan and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the Dairies factory
Conduct in-house Personnel GMP, facility and environmental audits (Environmental integrity) on the manufacturing plant and premises to identify non-conformances for timely closures to maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
Validate accuracy and reliability of all weighing scales and equipment used in the Factory for production to control wastages/variances in material usage, and for consistencies in product quality.
Investigate defect levels in the finished products and analyze and interpret data to advise Factory Management on minimizing and/or eliminating the root cause(s) of the defects.
Implement and maintain product tracking records which enable the complete history of a batch of product to be traced to details of its ingredients and the final distribution location of the product, in the eventuality of any product recall.
Monitor the fumigation exercise to verify its effectiveness to ensure a pest-free manufacturing environment.
Verify claims of customer complaints related to product quality issues and recommend appropriate advice to the customer service unit for a quick resolution of the complaints to enhance customer satisfaction.
Evaluate the competencies of our suppliers to supply wholesome and quality raw and packaging materials by carrying out periodic inspections of their facilities and processes.
Carry out inspection at the distributor’s shops to ensure that products are not compromised at the storage or selling point after supply.
Carry out material spot checks to ensure that materials used for production conform to the manufacturing specifications provided.
Ensure that good documentation practice is maintained for all process activities monitored.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a B.Sc or HND in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences and Food Science & Technology or Engineering.
Must have 2 -4 years relevant experience
Quality Control and Quality Assurance experience in a Food Manufacturing/Processing industry
An innovative, skillful and self-motivated team player with good analytical and statistical skills.
