Job Description
A System Integration IT firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Professional specialist with over five years of experience to join their team in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of IT services, a proven track record of sales, develop new business opportunities, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Deliver the right products and solutions that meet prospect's needs, against defined revenue and growth targets for new business through a focused sales strategy.
Assess each individual customer's needs to identify a whole-of-business solution
Build new client base for the IT managed services practice - Accountable for revenue growth and exceeding target expectations
Work with the pre-sales Engineers to price list and products, submit customer quote and Accountable for getting customer orders
Build sales pipelines, present proposals
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, monitoring competitive landscape, and emerging technologies and develop relevant sales techniques.
Consistently monitor sales activity and track results. Prepare and present accurate and timely sales forecasts in weekly and monthly meetings
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions via technical team; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
Self-motivated and always on time for work in meetings
Own your clients and build relationships for renewal/up-selling opportunities
Within your portfolio of existing customers, you are required to visit your customers and provide product & service-based solutions.
Ensure efficient provisioning, processing, and completion of data orders, including updates to sales
Establish, Develop and Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual target forecast.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree / HND
5 - 7 experience in tech sales, with a strong background in IT/Tech industry.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum of 5 years sales experience in ICT services industry
Exceptional Professional written and verbal communication skills
Proven track record of work experience and exceeding sales expectations in Solution Selling of IT infrastructure solutions or related products
Proven IT sales experience to create business and are confident in building professional relationships in B2B situations
Sales Strategy and Execution in IT Managed Services, Network Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Network Security, Professional IT Services etc.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and solution-selling IT
Proven experience in creating quotes around IT services
Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate effectively with other functions i.e. Presales, Project Managers both at the prospecting and fulfilment engagement stages.
Maintain level of sales certifications (as demanded by manager) and engagement with key vendors (OEMs)
Market Analysis and Insights of the competition landscape.
