We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

Location: Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

• The Warehouse Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse by assisting with inventory management, order fulfillment, and general warehouse duties.
• This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments. Ensure that all items are accurately documented and stored properly.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company guidelines. Verify that all items are correct and in good condition before dispatch.
• Stock Maintenance: Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies or low stock levels. Help maintain organized and clean warehouse spaces.
• Shipping and Receiving: Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials and products. Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments, and receipts. Use warehouse management systems to track and manage inventory.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to coordinate and streamline warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of HND / Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, business administration, or management related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience within the FMCG industry, preferably within the Manufacturing sector.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must be residents of Ibeju-Lekki.
