Job Title: Gym Assistant

Location: Central Area, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• A Gym Assistant ensures smooth operations at fitness facilities.
• Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, member assistance, and administrative tasks.
• They uphold cleanliness standards, provide customer service, and support fitness trainers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with gym equipment and answer any questions they may have
• Clean and sanitize gym equipment and facilities daily
• Monitor gym equipment and report any maintenance issues to management
• Enforce gym policies and rules to ensure a safe and respectful environment
• Assist with gym classes and events as needed
• Keep inventory of gym supplies and order new supplies when necessary
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of the gym
• Provide exceptional customer service to all members and guests

Requirements

• Strong communication skills to engage with gym members and provide excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment and ability to assist members with their workouts.
• Ability to swim.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and support fellow gym staff.
• Basic computer skills to assist with member check-ins and scheduling.
• CPR and first aid certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift weights and perform basic exercises to demonstrate proper form to members.

Salary
N50,000 - N70,000 monthly.
