You will complete several tasks to obtain the most competitive IT hardware & Software purchases and materials/supplies for our client across multiple regions.
Track Inventory and Place Orders:
You will determine the accurate materials and supplies as required by customers and place orders as needed. This will involve keeping an inventory of materials and supplies on hand and replenishing these items as they are sold or used. You will oversee the flow of materials to help company determine inventory levels and needs.
Establish Cost Budgets:
You will work closely with other managers, such as those in business sales development, technical and procurement associate team to complete inventory planning, forecasting and reports that will impact the budget.
Select and Negotiate with Vendors:
You will build relationships with various vendors in order to receive competitive pricing and quality products. You will negotiate contracts and pricing, review bids and establish payment terms. Aside current standard established vendors, it will be up to you to choose new vendors you want to do business with.
Contract Management:
You will oversee the drafting, review, and management of contracts for IT procurement. Work with compliance to ensure contractual terms and conditions are met. You will also manage contracts; ensuring renewals and amendments are done as at when required.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement, and develop contingency plans to address
potential supply chain disruptions.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, suppliers performance, and cost savings, while maintaining a comprehensive procurement records.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, 4 years in IT procurement, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of IT products and services, including hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
Familiarity with procurement software and systems (e.g., ERP systems).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
