Job Description
The Media Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling media advertising solutions to clients across various industries.
This role involves prospecting new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and creating tailored advertising campaigns to meet client objectives.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the media landscape, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition and Retention:
Identify and target potential clients across multiple industries for media advertising opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
Conduct client meetings and presentations to understand their advertising needs and present suitable media solutions.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.
Prepare and present sales proposals, including customized media plans, pricing, and ad placements.
Media Product Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date on the latest media products, advertising trends, and market developments.
Understand the full range of media offerings (digital, print, broadcast, etc.) and how they can be used to meet client objectives.
Educate clients on the benefits of different media platforms and advise them on the best strategies to reach their target audience.
Negotiation and Closing Sales:
Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to close sales effectively.
Ensure all sales contracts are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
Monitor the progress of advertising campaigns and provide clients with regular updates on performance.
Reporting and Analysis:
Track and report sales performance metrics, including revenue, client acquisition, and retention rates.
Analyze market trends and client feedback to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Provide regular sales forecasts and contribute to the overall sales planning process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in media sales, advertising sales, or a similar role.
Knowledge of digital media, social media platforms, print, or broadcast advertising.
Strong network within the media or advertising industry
