Job Title: Executive Director, Finance
Location: Kaduna

Job Responsibilities
Maintain responsibility for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations.
Articulate the Holdings` financial strategies and ensure alignment of the company strategic priorities
Ensure that the company’s financing requirements are consistently met, and that capital structure is optimized at all points in time
Continuously review the company’s performance, identify and appraise business risks/ opportunities, and make appropriate recommendations for business growth and development
Implement “Open Book Management” practices across the entire subsidiary to maximize transparency and increase staff knowledge about the health of the company and financial management more generally
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and
strengthen internal controls
Oversee and manage the treasury and financial control functions of the business
Develop, organize and evaluate all the subsidiaries fiscal function and performance.
Participate in the development of the organization’s overall strategic goals
Champion the implementation of the finance function’s strategy ensuring alignment with organization’s corporate strategy and business goals
Oversee the preparation of the company’s annual budget and monitor its implementation
Develop credibility for the finance function by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and associated trends to assist Executive Management in performing their duties
Ensure all databases are updated on the ERP from internal and external sources to enhance the company’s competitiveness and business ranking
Establish an appropriate management information system for collation, monitoring and reporting purposes
Support all subsidiaries of Illaj Holdings to understand and effectively manage their overhead costs, asset expenditures and unit economics (if applicable)
Develop and maximize business relationships with Bankers, Finance & General Purpose/Audit committees of the board of directors and regulatory officials
Ensure the company operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations and accounting standards applicable to its operations
Coordinate the preparation and reporting of the company’s financial position with the accountant
Coordinate the regular preparation and reporting of cash flow statement with the accountant
Monitor all the operating base costs and highlight factors impacting effective cost management towards achieving a low-cost business environment
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or CFA designation preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment management, risk management, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing investment strategies.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients across departments.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing teams and driving strategic initiatives.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
Salary
N1,000,000 - N1,500,000 monthly.
