Job Title: Chinese Translator

Location: Kama-Otto, Nasarawa

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Chinese Translator to join our team at a Chinese mining firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both Chinese and English, with the ability to accurately translate and interpret in both languages.
• The role requires someone who has lived in China or has more than two years of experience working in a Chinese enterprise, ensuring a deep understanding of Chinese culture, business practices, and technical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate written translations of documents, emails, contracts, and other business-related materials from Chinese to English and vice versa.
• Interpret spoken communication during meetings, conferences, and on-site interactions between Chinese and non-Chinese speaking staff.
• Assist in the preparation of bilingual presentations, reports, and other business documents.
• Act as a cultural bridge between Chinese and local employees, facilitating clear communication and mutual understanding.
• Assist in the preparation and translation of technical documents, ensuring accuracy and clarity in both languages.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees
• Must have lived in China or have more than 2 years of experience working in a Chinese enterprise.
• Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably in a business or technical environment.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly (We offer a competitive performance bonus in addition to the monthly salary).
