Job Title: Production Manager
Locations: Apapa, Victoria Island - Lagos and Onitsha - Anambra

Responsibilities
Overseeing Production Processes, Planning and executing the production schedule on time within budget, ensuring quality standards, and ensuring the fortification process as per regulatory requirements are met.
To raise daily production plan in consultation with the Marketing, Quality Control, Logistics, and Stores Departments.
To raise requisition for materials to be used for production in line with the daily production plan and sends to the Store supervisor for the release of the said materials
Ensure that product batches produced during the day/night shift are clearly marked for easy tracing.
Ensure that all the sections in the production department such as
labelers, blenders, fillers, and printers are working in line with their daily production plan while being properly supervised.
To determine the required Human and Material resources required to achieve a given target.
To manage both human and material resources to meet production targets.
To work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations.
To determine and implement improvement in the production process.
To ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments including procurement, laboratory, Stores, Maintenance, Sales, and Management.
Liaise with the Engineering team to organize the repair and Maintenance of production types of equipment.
Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting to line Manager
Ensure the safe use of equipment, and schedule and organize the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
Analyze budgets continuously control production costs and identify/rectify waste measures.
Coaches and develops staff, while fostering a team atmosphere. Provides pep talks as needed and coaching for any performance issues.
Check production output according to specifications and submit reports on performance and progress.
Identify issues of inefficiency, suggest and take action on improvement
Conduct monthly performance appraisals for all production employees and communicate information to HR and Executive Management
Job Requirements
A Bachelor's (M. Eng. & B.Eng. / HND) degree in sciences is required for this role.
5-15 years of proven production work experience preferably in oil Manufacturing (Lubricant oil, Gear Oil) of which have a minimum of 5 years in managerial capacity.
Deep knowledge of production management and Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
Experience and knowledge of provincial health and safety standards.
Proficient in MS Office.
Knowledge of project management principles and good housekeeping practices.
Knowledge of business and management principles and practice.
Excellent supervision, communication (oral and written), business presentation, skills, Organization, and leadership abilities, Self-motivated with a result-driven approach, Problem- solving skills.
