Job Title: QA & QC Lead - Fiber Operations

Job Summary

• Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Quality, the Team Lead is required to manage the following:
  • Spot Checks and Reporting of Outside Plant Fiber Activities
  • Milestone and Final Acceptance Testing
  • Escalations and Enforcement of Quality
  • As Built Documentation
  • Maintaining and Updating
• Standards and Specification Documentation for Training purposes You will report to the Head of Infrastructure Quality and contribute to the overall Quality Objectives of the Infrastructure Division You are tasked with ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence during all levels of engagements with customers and stakeholders, proactively providing support and input when required. In addition to the above, You are also required to build capacity and develop teams working with you.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance And Compliance on All Outside Plant Deployments and Operations
• Periodic Audit and Verification of As Maintained Information and Records
• Updating and Maintaining Standards and Specifications Documentation
• Updating and Maintaining Training Documentation
• Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Reporting on Performance Indices as required in the Infrastructure Quality Unit
• Build and maintain a healthy relationship with customers and stakeholders
• Drive internal and external training initiatives for team members.

Qualifications and Skills

• B.Eng in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• CFOT is an added advantage
• Good Knowledge of Fiber Turnkey Deployments and Civil Works and Materials standards
• Conversant with Microsoft Office Tools, AutoCAD/Visio, A good knowledge of GIS will be an added advantage
• Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills.

Experience:

• 5 years experience in Turnkey Fiber Deployment and Civil Works standards and specifications
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project
• Conversant with the Use of CAD and GIS.
