Job Summary
We are actively searchingfor an experienced Project Manager to join our Business Development team.
The successful candidate will be responsible foroverseeing the maintenance and improvement of all outlet facilities.
This role also involves managing special projects that enhance operational capabilities and contribute to business growth. Additionally, the manager will interface with government regulatory agencies and seek out external business opportunities that would generate additional income streams for the business.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Management:
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of all locations to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
Ensure the timely repair of any breakdown in equipment and facilities across all locations.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
Sourcing and vetting competent, reliable vendors for the repair & maintenance of facilities & equipment.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repair and maintenance services, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
Compliance and Regulatory Interface:
Serve as the primary point of contact for government regulatory agencies, managing inspections and ensuring compliance with all requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to ensure continuous compliance.
Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
Special Projects Management:
Identify new business locations, build a justification and present for approval.
Identify and manage special projects that enhance operational efficiency, support business growth, and improve customer experience.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with company objectives.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and manage the facility and special projects team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and implement process enhancements.
Promote teamwork and collaboration within the department and across the organization.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the facility and special projects budget, ensuring expenditures align with company goals and financial targets.
Monitor and report on budget performance, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Management or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or project management, preferably in the food and beverage or QSR industry.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience in interfacing with government agencies.
Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead complex projects from inception to completion.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of energy management and cost-saving techniques.
Certification in; Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Scrum Master Certification (SMC), or PRINCE2 Certification
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing and developing teams.
