Mulligan Hotel, a private Nigerian Group of Companies, operating retail, hospitality and property business, requires highly motivated individuals and experienced professionals with proven track records to fill the position below in a 40-bedroom Hotel of 4 standards in Lagos:

Job Title: Bartender

Location: Sabo - Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of HND / BSC in Hotel & Catering Management, Accountancy, Social Sciences or related field of study.

Experience:

• Candidates for the advertised positions will require cognate experience of five (5) years and above with extensive experience working in quality hotels.
• Applicants must be computer literate, have excellent communication skills and of good personality.

Skills:

• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Excellent knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
• Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings
• Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
• Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and be responsive
• Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
• Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
• Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the barorganized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate.
