Job Summary

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice Principal to join our leadership team.
• The Vice Principal will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning, administration, and day-to-day operations of the school, working closely with the Principal, staff, students, and parents to maintain and enhance the high standards of our educational offerings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Principal in developing and implementing the academic curriculum, policies, and programs consistent with international standards and educational best practices.
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and evaluation of the secondary school curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational objectives and student needs.
• Provide guidance and support to faculty members in instructional practices, assessment strategies, and professional development opportunities.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment conducive to academic achievement and personal growth.
• Implement and enforce disciplinary policies and procedures in collaboration with the Principal, ensuring fairness and consistency.
• Address student concerns, conflicts, and behavioural issues in a timely and effective manner, fostering a positive school culture.
• Assist the Principal in overseeing day-to-day operations, including student enrolment, scheduling, facilities management, and budget administration.
• Coordinate with department heads, counsellors, and support staff to optimize school resources and support student success.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to student academic performance, attendance, and behaviour.
• Cultivate strong relationships with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders through regular communication, meetings, and events.
• Collaborate with the Principal in addressing parental concerns, soliciting feedback, and fostering a sense of partnership in education.
• Represent the school at community events, conferences, and professional organizations to promote its mission and values.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay abreast of current trends, research, and innovations in education.
• Mentor and support faculty members in their professional growth, providing opportunities for training, collaboration, and reflection.
• Pursue personal and professional growth opportunities to enhance leadership skills and contribute to the advancement of the school community.
• Any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an educational institution, preferably in an international school setting.
• Strong knowledge of international curricula and educational best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
