We are seeking to engage Consultant Gynecologists to join our team in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt for a long-term partnership.
Responsibilities
Medical Services:
Conduct end to end fertility diagnosis and treatment for clients including the following:
Handling enquiries
Managing first consultations , standard investigation reviews, post failed cycle reviews
Transvaginal and transabdominal ultrasound scanning as well as fluid contrast sonography. Diagnostic hysteroscopy when indicated
Ovarian stimulation protocols for IVF and IUI
Scheduling patients for IVF/ICSI/PGT/IUI/TESE /Ovum donation/Surrogacy
Ultrasound directed follicular aspiration
Surgical sperm collection as required
Embryo transfer and advice on the number of embryos to be transferred.
Intrauterine insemination
Management of the pregnant clients
Gynaecological consultations
Management of complications such as the ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome, early pregnancy loss and abnormal pregnancies such as ectopic pregnancies and rarely gestational trophoblastic disease.
Quality Management and Innovation:
Ensure quality assurance by conducting processes and procedures according to agreed standards.
Develop new protocols to ensure that processes remain at cutting edge for superior clinical performance.
Drive self to continuously acquire and improve the knowledge, skills and competencies required for the role i.e. IVF treatment, Salesmanship & Relationship Management, Leadership, etc.
Revenue Generation:
Deliver the company’s annual revenue target by scheduling couples for treatment cycles after first consultation
Brand Development:
Carry out research and develop publications to be published in reputable journals
Contribute to communication materials for the company such as newsletters, brochures, newspaper articles
Give lectures/presentations at Seminars/Conferences such as SOGON, ESHRE, IFFS; this may extend to radio or television appearances as required
Relationship Management:
Develop and manage a relationship with the Client to enforce the clients “buy in” to the services of the clinic by following up and providing the right level of emotional management
Develop and manage relationships with the referral Doctors to secure the right relationship for ongoing client referrals.
Prepare treatment summaries to keep referral doctors abreast of the progress of their respective clients
Administration:
Complete case files
Record all encounters with the client on Fertismart and assure the integrity of the information
Prepare clients bill on Fertismart after 1st consultation for each client scheduled for treatment
Requirements
MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery / equivalent
6 years post-qualification experience
IVF experience required
Part II Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons and/ or Member of Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecologist Surgeons / National PostGraduate qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecologist
