We seek an exceptional IT Consultant/ IT Business Analyst to join our Business Transformation team in our Nigeria Branch.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing complex projects and driving business change aligned with strategic goals.
Responsibilities
Business Development:
Analyze and review IT policies, standards, and procedures.
Support new business development activities, including business problems and route cause identification, solution development, solution option analysis such as cost benefit analysis, risk analysis, etc, idea generation.
Business Process Improvement and Risk Mitigation:
Business IT system Assessment/ Audit/ IT system Audit
Conduct comprehensive reviews of business processes t o identify risks.
Propose solutions for process efficiency improvements.
IT Expertise:
Demonstrate and apply IT knowledge to develop, execute, and enhance action plans.
Provide guidance on best practices and technology solutions.
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Engage with business units, IT teams, and partners to meet customer needs.
Manage stakeholder expectations and define project scope, timelines, budget, and quality criteria.
Project Leadership and Management:
Lead and participate in multiple projects, managing documentation, scope, schedules, and milestones.
Ensure timely delivery of project tasks and effective communication with stakeholders.
Support technical projects by developing specifications, timelines, and budgets.
Facilitate project planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and other meetings.
Oversee cross-functional development projects using Agile/Scrum and SDLC methodologies.
Process Modelling/ Mapping, Design, and Improvement/Automation:
Analyze and design complex business and systems processes.
Recommend process enhancements and integrate new systems with existing ones.
Proficiency in Business Process Modelling BPMN 2.0.
Effective Communication:
Keep stakeholders informed through formal and informal communication.
Facilitate project meetings and presentations.
IT Controls and Audits:
Examine internal IT controls, evaluate effectiveness, and develop remediation strategies.
Conduct onsite audits of IT and business systems, identifying vulnerabilities and generating audit reports.
Testing:
Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities.
Review, evaluate, and test application controls.
Oversee the planning, design, and delivery of high-quality applications.
Engineering:
Discover, document, and prioritize client needs and requirements.
Analyze and refine requirements, conduct design and prototyping, and monitor project deliverables.
Facilitate project planning and other project-related meetings.
Data Analysis:
Define and deliver metrics, reporting platforms, dashboards, and analytical models.
Facilitate the computerization of analytics and data collection processes.
Conduct data analysis and validation using tools like SQL, Excel/ Power BI.
Change Management & Change Sustainability
In-depth Knowledge and experience about business change delivery, management and sustainability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Technology, Business or any related field but with relevant experience in Business & IT.
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience as an IT Business Analyst or IT Consultant or related roles.
Experience in the banking or fintech industry is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Project management experience is advantageous.
Experience with SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred Certifications: PMP, AgilePM, Business Analysis Certifications such as CBAP/ BCS, CISA.
Knowledge of trending software solutions, especially in health and nutrition ecosystems.
Strong strategic, creative thinking, and project management skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within tight timelines.
Fluent in English with strong leadership and team-building skills.
Training and presentation experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of project management tools like Atlassian Jira and adaptability to other softwares.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Readily available to work from home and for immediate start.
Benefits
Salary: N300,000 - N400,000 per month, depending on experience

Possibility of contract extension based on performance/ availability.
