Job Title: Account Clerk / Assistant

Location: Oniru Road - Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Overview

• The Account Clerk is responsible for assisting in the accounting and Finance department, responsibilities include mainly keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements.
• You will also process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts

Job Description

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
• Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements
• Reconcile accounts promptly
• Daily enter key data of financial transactions in the database
• Provide assistance and support to company personnel
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
• Constantly update job knowledge.

Requirements

• A graduate of Accounting or a related field.
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers
• Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
• Data entry and word processing skills
• Well organized
• Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.

Remuneration
Salary is based on industry standards.
