Job Purpose
The incumbent will support AYP programming in the state, including support to the hubs and the Cool Girls app. The Program Coordinator for the SHE Centre is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all activities and initiatives aimed at empowering girls and young women who have enrolled in either a STEM or vocational training track at the centre.
An experienced administrator, the SHE Centre Coordinator will be the point of contact and face of the SHE Centre, engaging leadership, donors, and other stakeholders on a regular basis.
This role involves creating a supportive and enriching environment for girls to explore and excel through a variety of programs and activities.
The incumbent will monitor and evaluate project activities, ensuring timely goals and objectives are met. They will work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure project success.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to structured operating policies and safeguarding principles by all staff and visitors to the centre.
Support the transparent and efficient enrollment of eligible beneficiaries aligning to the OVC vulnerability index.
Provide administrative and coordination support to the other AYP empowerment programs in Lagos state, including the existing AYP and STEM hubs, FMP and vocational interventions, and NMNWW, working closely with the OVC and gender teams.
Ensure seamless running of the SHE Centre with prompt escalation of issues, safeguarding beneficiaries, visitors, and providers, and coordinating regular cleanliness and availability of necessary amenities.
Be responsible for all assets and records at the SHE hub.
Support the quarterly orientation and onboarding of new enrollees at AYP platforms, with documentation of the same.
Ensure the maintenance of rolling enrollment of beneficiaries using fliers, banners, social media posts, and the use of the pre-enrollment form.
Ensure minimum stock of training materials including curriculum, orientation packages.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Health-related Degree with Administrative, Management, or HR experience as a plus.
Experience working with young persons.
At least 3 years’ post-NYSC work experience in RMNCAH, with at least 1 year of supervisory, management, or leadership responsibilities.
Excellent grasp of AYGW issues and current literature in providing support to AYP.
Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills including the ability to foresee problems and initiate appropriate action.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications and remote conferencing software.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English. Ability to speak a local language will be an added advantage.
