Job Title: Information Technology (I.T) Personnel

Job Summary
The IT Personnel will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems to support business functions and operations.
This role demands a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of FMCG industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to end-users across various departments, including sales, marketing, production, and logistics.
Respond to and resolve IT support tickets promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
Network and System Management:
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Ensure network security by implementing and managing security protocols and measures specific to FMCG industry requirements.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and perform regular network performance checks to support efficient supply chain operations.
System Administration:
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various systems, ensuring data security and compliance.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to protect critical business data.
Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functioning of servers and workstations, supporting business-critical applications.
Hardware and Software Management:
Install, configure, and maintain software applications and updates, ensuring compatibility with FMCG systems.
Manage IT hardware inventory, including procurement, setup, and disposal of equipment, supporting warehouse and distribution centers.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software purchases and support, ensuring timely availability of IT resources.
IT Projects:
Assist in the planning, implementation, and management of IT projects that enhance business operations and productivity.
Collaborate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs, supporting initiatives like sales automation and inventory management.
Document and maintain IT procedures, policies, and manuals tailored to the FMCG industry.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive business and customer data.
Educate and train staff on IT best practices and security awareness specific to FMCG operations.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Proven experience in IT support, network management, and system administration, preferably in the FMCG sector.
Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and IT infrastructure.
Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Proficiency in using IT management and monitoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, or equivalent.
Experience with ERP systems commonly used in FMCG (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Understanding of ITIL framework and IT service management.
Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics IT solutions.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position.
May require occasional evening or weekend work for maintenance and support.
On-call support may be required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 Monthly.
