Job Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving sales and revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong networking skills and a deep understanding of the real estate market.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends.
Analyze market data to develop and implement growth strategies.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Identify and approach potential clients through networking, cold calling, and other methods.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders.
Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals.
Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Create and maintain promotional materials such as brochures, presentations, and online content.
Project Management:
Oversee the development and execution of real estate projects.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project success.
Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends for senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the real estate industry.
Strong knowledge of the real estate market, including trends and opportunities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with real estate investment and financing.
Knowledge of property development and construction processes.
Familiarity with real estate laws and regulations.
Experience with digital marketing and social media strategies.
