Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise in mechanical engineering design, analysis, and project execution for oil and gas facilities.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles within the Oil and Gas sector. Proficiency in mechanical design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
• Demonstrated experience in mechanical design, installation, and maintenance for oil and gas facilities, including platforms, refineries, and pipelines.
• Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements related to engineering design in the oil and gas sector.
• Professional certification e.g., COREN, NSE is mandatory.

Fire and Gas Engineer

• The Fire and Gas Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of fire and gas detection systems.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related field). Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Fire and Gas Engineer in the Oil and Gas sector Proficiency in fire and gas detection system design, installation, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of fire and gas detection technologies, including detectors, sensors, and control systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as NFPA, IEC, and API.
• Certification in fire and gas detection systems, such as CFPS (Certified Fire Protection Specialist) or equivalent including knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements as it relates to the oil and gas sector.
