We are seeking a seasoned and experienced individual who will serves as the chief executive officer of the school, providing visionary leadership and strategic direction to ensure the school's success and growth.
This role involves overseeing all aspects of the school's operations, including academic programs, departmental and staff management, student services, financial planning, and community relations.
The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of educational excellence and fostering a supportive and inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the school, ensuring they operate effectively and achieve their educational goal.
Academic Excellence: Foster a culture of academic excellence, curriculum development, and instructional quality across the school.
Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise school academic and administrative staff, promoting professional growth and performance excellence.
Educational Policies: Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with local regulations and academic standards, ensuring compliance and quality.
Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Oversee budgeting processes, allocate resources effectively, and ensure financial sustainability and accountability across the school.
School Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, analyze data, and implement evidence-based strategies to enhance student outcomes.
Safety and Welfare: Ensure the safety, well-being, and welfare of students and staff through appropriate policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
External Partnerships: Collaborate with external organizations, educational institutions, and government entities to establish beneficial partnerships and enhance educational opportunities.
Reporting and Evaluation: Prepare regular reports on school performance, present findings to stakeholders, and implement evaluation mechanisms to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
Person Specification / Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
A Master’s Degree would be an advantage
Experience: 5+years
Extensive experience in educational leadership, including previous roles as a head of school, director of studies, or sectional leader
In-depth knowledge of educational policies, regulations, and best practices
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Familiarity with technology integration and innovative educational approaches
Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and resource management.
Salary Budget
N350,000 monthly (To be reviewed after a probationary period of 6 months).
