Job Description

• As an IT System Administrator in Trading Partner Ltd., you will play a crucial role in managing, supporting, and improving our IT systems and network infrastructure.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our IT environment.
• The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to system management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain servers, network devices, and other IT infrastructure components.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks.
• Implement and manage security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes.
• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to plan and execute IT projects and upgrades.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements to recommend and implement new technologies as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).
• Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), firewalls, and VPNs.
• Proficiency in managing virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Experience using Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience in Scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Cisco CCNA) are desirable.

Salary
N300,000 per month.
