Job Title: Business Development Supervisor

Responsibilities
Focuses on identifying and creating new business opportunities.
Explores potential partnerships and collaborations.
Expands the customer base.
Conducting thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and industry trends.
Analyzing competitors to understand their strengths and weaknesses and to identify gaps in the market that the company can exploit.
Developing and implementing business development strategies that align with the company’s overall goals.
Setting objectives and goals for business growth and ensuring they are met.
Identifying potential clients and partners through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and other means.
Building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective clients.
Establishing strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Understanding client needs and providing solutions that meet those needs.
Preparing proposals, presentations, and contracts.
Negotiating terms and conditions with clients to close deals.
Working closely with other departments such as marketing, sales, and product development to ensure alignment and support in business development efforts.
Collaborating with the legal and finance teams to ensure all deals comply with company policies and regulations.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of business development strategies.
Preparing regular reports on business development activities and results for senior management.
Utilizing CRM software to manage client information, track interactions, and streamline the sales process.
Prepare and present necessary reports.
Education and experience
A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree can be added advantage.
Relevant work experience in sales, marketing, or business development is crucial.
Experience in the industry in which the company operates (Civil Engineering Construction) can provide valuable insights and connections.
