We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Generator Technician

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and  Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• To carry out the full operation and maintenance of all Generator Sets.
• To conduct inspection and troubleshooting of all Generator Sets.
• To check battery charge status and hydrometer battery water testing, radiator water, engine lubrication oil level and lead acid testing of lubrication oil, water jacket heater operation and to keep accurate logs and records of all operating parameters.
• To regularly change oil and filters of the Generator Set as required.
• To carry out no–load testing every week and to record all the reading in the standard Generator run test form.
• To keep an accurate record of all activities and load testing of the Generator Sets.
• Carries out other duties relevant as assigned by Superior.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification
• Minimum of 3 years experience as Generator Technician.
• Trade apprenticeship or similar vocational training
• Proficient with estimating time required to complete tasks.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to work well without supervision.
