A.A RANO Nigeria Limited and Accrete Exploration and Production Limited jointly formed Rano-Accrete Petroleum Development Company (RAPDC) Limited to operate the Oloye Field (PPL 245) formerly within Chevron operated OML 95. RAPDC is the operator for PPL-245 containing the shallow offshore Oloye field, offshore Delta State, Nigeria. With our expertise and experience, RAPDC is well equipped and resourced to manage the exploration, development, and production of hydrocarbons from the shallow offshore Oloye field thereby contributing to the growth and sustainability of the energy industry in Nigeria.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Reservoir Engineer

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Use advanced numerical simulation techniques to forecast oil and gas production and recovery from both new and existing fields
Collaborate with other team members in devising economically viable development plans for oil and gas reservoirs.
Develop and execute data-gathering plans and using the results to develop projects to increase recovery efficiency
Define reservoir design bases for projects and develop or update Field Depletion Plans (FDPs).
Develop, maintain, and monitor reservoir management strategies; surveillance and data acquisition planning, contact movement e.tc.
Support development and prioritization of reservoir development activities involving drilling and projects as well as other activities such as data integration for improved subsurface characterization and depletion planning; workover and drill-well evaluations; volumes forecasting; economics and reserves assessments.
Provide reservoir engineering support to the company's technical/operational activities.
Ensure sound and prudent reservoir management practices in line with local and international oil field standards
Provide reservoir engineering support during drilling, completion, work over and through-tubing operations.
Carry out regular reservoir and wells production performance studies with a view to recommending optimum reservoir management strategies for enhanced productivity.
Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
B.Eng / BSc Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from a reputable institution
A Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering will be an added advantage
Minimum of 10 years’ reservoir engineering experience in operating companies
Strong reservoir simulation and planning skills using Petrel, Eclipse and Navigator
Proficient/basic understanding of the use of geological modeling software, e.g Petrel.
Professional expertise in the use of Material Balance, well test analysis and decline analysis
Professional expertise in reserves estimation and classifications to meet SEC, PRMS and NNS standards.
Other Requirements:
Professional Engineering qualification. - B.Sc / B.Eng / B.Tech; M.Sc / M Eng is an added bonus.
Skills and Competencies:
Extensive reservoir engineering knowledge and demonstrated ability to support reservoir development, management, and optimization.
Ability to provide Reservoir engineering technical support for reservoir characterization and field studies, performance forecasting, opportunity generation and evaluation, reservoir surveillance, production optimization, and depletion planning.
Good technical understanding of reservoir performance prediction using both analytical and simulation tools.
Ability to work collaboratively and in a multidisciplinary team
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills, including familiarity with fluid characterization, hydraulics, material balance, reservoir simulation, economics assessment, and proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office suite)
Ability to use computer simulations effectively to help identify drilling risks.
