Job Title: Supervisor

Description
Responsible for supporting Store Managers with budgets
Demonstrate views on current key trade activity that potentially impacts the region
Support Sales and Marketing team in leading and managing teams and agreed departmental strategies
Assist with all projects as required
Be pro-active in expanding and promoting the company’s brand and assisting at peak training times and store events
Liaising with the Sales and Marketing Manager to ensure that the retail operations run smoothly, and to targets.
To support the opening of new stores – people, resources, operational plans
Working with Store Managers in identifying key areas of strength, and areas for growth in Cluster, maximizing sales spaces and Store profitability.
Train, Schedules, monitors, evaluate and provide direction to store staff of coverage
Maintain and change product displays including those required for periodic sale events
Ensure all product in the stores of coverage are price tagged when necessary
Ensure that visuals and show cards are changed periodically, lights are functioning properly, and shops are repainted when deemed necessary
Performs product inventory in accordance with established policies and maintains related records.
Ensuring checklists are marked for all stores visited.
To support the development of all Store managers in cluster and ensure they do the same for their teams
Support the Sales and Marketing team to ensure that the vision, objectives, sales and budget targets are clearly communicated and achieved across the cluster
Support the focus on training for all Store Managers in Cluster and ensure this is developed for all teams
To help and promote healthy competition across and between the region
To work with the HR to identify and develop potential leaders within the region
To address and refer to HR or concern department on issues as they arise
To assist in and support development of new team members, developing managers to deal with this up to Assistant Manager level
Ensures all employees wear their uniform appropriately
Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
Supervising and coordinate retail staff activities, including cashiers, Makeup Artist, Beauty Advisors and other people working in the store of coverage.
Ensure pricing is correct.
Coach, counsel, and discipline employees.
Evaluate on-the-job performance.
Manage the Organization and distribution of staff schedules.
To promote, implement, monitor and maintain excellent Customer Service standards at all times.
To work with Store Managers on Standards of Performance in region.
Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers.
Follow up how customer questions, complaints, and issues are handled by Store manager and other staff.
Train and manage how retail staff greet and assist customers with product selection.
To support the Head of Sales to monitor and manage sales targets for all Stores in Cluster
To work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to support analysis of trading patterns, challenge Store Managers, and ensure appropriate action is taken to unforeseen sales reactions
To liaise and communicate with the Sales and Marketing team on Visual needs, Merchandising and monitor standards of merchandising in all stores in Cluster
To liaise with Store Manager on weekly trade meetings and take appropriate action in Cluster to influence retail sales
Motivate and challenge Store Managers to achieve Data Collection targets e.g. CRM
To monitor and motivate on KPIs for all stores in the region
To support HR to ensure Store Managers are equipped with all the resources they need to lead, manage, and run each store effectively
Responsible for overseeing Daily/Weekly/Monthly Checks happening in Stores in the Cluster
To monitor store standards, Visual display, and Merchandising and work with the sales and marketing team to improve this.
Requirements
Candidates living in the Center of Lagos or the environs (Lagos-Island) are preferable.
Supervisory Experience in Retail/ Beauty Retail is Mandatory.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly.
