Job Title: Senior Associate, Industry Services and Research

Purpose of Position
A Senior Associate for the LBS Sustainability Centre is to lead projects of the LBS sustainability Centre and champion sustainability initiatives of Lagos Business School at large.
The centre should be known for advancing corporate sustainability thinking, practice and delivery in Nigeria and Africa in an intellectual and practical way.
Therefore, the ideal candidate should have some understanding and passion for sustainable development issues, research, programme/project coordination and management.
Responsibilities
Provide expertise, innovation and creativity in broadening Centre footprint her selected thematic areas and for her target market
Develop proposals, concept notes for industry reports, research and consulting projects for industry
Manage industry research, journal articles, reports and case studies projects (desktop research, literature reviews, data collection, interviews, data analysis, writing, drafting, reviews etc)
Identify and explore local and international trends and opportunities in sustainability for the centre and LBS as a whole.
Design, develop and manage industry-focused programmes and research projects
Support external communication on Centre and LBS’ sustainability and responsible management achievements and initiatives (keynote speech, conference presentations)
Support the programme team in reviewing program feedback including that from external partner organisations; assess programming for continuous improvement
Attend meetings with and manage relationships with LBS stakeholders and member organisations
Initiate and support fundraising activities and grant sourcing to fund Centre activities
Serve as LBS designate to partner organisations like the Private Sector Advisory Group (PSAG).
Qualifications
Minimum of a Master's Degree.
Professional Qualifications:
Postgraduate training and membership in a related professional body is an advantage.
Cognate Experience:
Minimum of Four (4) years of work experience, preferably in sustainability practice, think-tank, research institute, or consulting/advisory firm.
Experience in sustainability, research, business development and project management.
