We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Information Technology Specialist

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Capacity to lead the design, development, and implementation of IT systems and infrastructure to support bank operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
• Ability to execute IT strategies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and security of IT services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify technology needs, drive process improvements, and foster innovation.
• Champion cybersecurity initiatives to safeguard data, mitigate threats, and ensure compliance.
• Organize and evaluate information security and management systems operations.
• Coordinate installation and integration of software and hardware solutions.
• Ensure timely delivery of business systems and provide user support.
• Manage and support delivery of application/software and hardware projects.
• Conduct Information Security Risk Assessments and Management activities.
• Perform incident, access, and authorization management for IT infrastructure.

Qualifications
Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Software Development / Information Technology, or a related field.
• Additional certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), PMP (Project Management Professional), or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) are advantageous. Cloud Infrastructure, Cybersecurity.

Experience:

• 4+ years’ specialist experience in an IT environment
• 2+ years’ experience working with microfinance Banking systems.
• 2 + years ‘Experience providing IT solutions in a microfinance environment preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating with business leaders to drive effectiveness of the IT department.
• Proven track record of implementing innovative technological solutions to streamline processes, enhance security, and improve efficiency in financial institutions.
• Demonstrated leadership in driving digital transformation initiatives to meet the evolving needs of the organization and its clients.
• Experience in managing and retaining a team of talent technology professionals.
