We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Engineer - Compressor Products

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

  • The Sales Engineer for compressors products will be stationed in Lagos office in Nigeria.
  • Will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, developing end users and distributors, closing sales transactions, and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • This role involves overseeing the entire sales process, from initial contact to post-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth.
  •  The candidate must have extensive experience in the compressor market, with a deep understanding of its technical applications and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing customers and closing sales transaction on compressor in Nigeria.
  • Responsible for following up, facilitating and expediting all process of the business transaction, including but not limited to regular visiting prospective and existing clients to maintain relationship, clarify enquiry/concerns, negotiate business terms, close transactions, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Facilitating importation process by applying for Form M, L/C, and custom clearance.
  • Responsible for communication and coordination on all pre-sales and after-sales related matters.
  • Responsible for the new products and new business opportunities’ analysis, development and risk control in Nigeria.
  • Collect information of competitors and competitor’s products.
  • Analyze new clients and risk levels.
  • Payment collection from the clients before/after the delivery (based on the transaction).
  • Develop, expand and support local sales channels, such as dealers and / or agents.
  • Maintain and expand relationship with local authorities.
  • Other tasks and support from head office under Beijing office’s directions. 

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years or more of experience in the relevant field.
  • A deep understanding and technical knowledge of compressors and their applications.
  • Preference given to candidates with downstream customer resources.
  •  Strong understanding of the compressor market and industry, including technological trends and market dynamics.
  • Capability to analyze sales data and draw actionable insights.
  • Able to develop and implement sales plans to achieve company sales goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
