Job Title: Fire Watchman

Location: Akwa Ibom

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Watch to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the continuous observation and patrolling areas of hot work activities.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling areas where work at dangerous temperatures is being carried out.
• Ensuring that all work conditions meet the organization’s requirements.
• Preparing fire extinguishers and other safety equipment around the building.
• Continuously observing hot work activity for the detection of, and response to, fires during hot work operations.
• Stopping work if necessary and conducting essential steps for restoring safe conditions within the hot work areas.

Requirements

• Must be a certified fire watchman.
• Ability to use various fire fighting equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of specific fire hazards, preventions and techniques.
• Must be physically fit for the role.
