Job Title: Community Nutrition Mobilizer

About the Job
A community-based individual who is instrumental in enabling the project team to penetrate and establish a relationship with the host community; one of EYN Project representatives at the community level under the supervision of the Project Officer
Main Responsibilities
The Community Mobilizer will be responsible for the following, including those not listed but are extensions of those expressly stated:
Helps in identifying the stakeholders and prospective beneficiaries of the project within the community
Organizes and mobilizes the community for the need identification and baseline assessment
Supports the project officer in conducting Baseline and Impact evaluation surveys on community perceptions of the reintegration and reconciliation process to be conducted at the beginning and the end of the project
Support as well as contribute to planning social mobilization training, awareness workshops and knowledge and information sharing in the community to enable selected community members to learn about inclusive reintegration and reconciliation
Design periodic mobilization activity plan and update the plan to accommodate the change and needs of the beneficiaries and to ensure the qualitative implementation of the plan. This is to be done under the supervision of the project Field Assistant, Supervisors and officers and in consultation with the village-level stakeholder
Participate in case review meetings and referral coordination meetings if needed
Contribute to a positive team environment

Qualifications
Ability to read, write (needed for reporting) and interpret IECs in local languages.
Indigenous Background
Familiarity with the community (knowledge of nook and crannies of the community and its individuals).
Prior work experience in hygiene promotion experience with EYN or any agency in the past will be an asset
