Job Description
The Cyber Security Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with clients, understanding their cyber security needs, and ensuring the delivery of effective security solutions.
This role involves working closely with internal teams to deliver on client requirements, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their cyber security needs are met.
Account Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services with current clients. Work to meet and exceed sales targets and grow the client base.
Solution Delivery: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the delivery of tailored cyber security solutions. Oversee the implementation of security products and services to meet client requirements.
Consultative Selling: Understand clients’ business challenges and provide consultative advice on how to enhance their cyber security posture. Present and demonstrate security solutions to clients.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and new security technologies. Provide insights to clients on how these trends may impact their security strategies.
Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports on account status, activities, and results to management. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or challenges faced by clients in a timely manner. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications is a plus.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the cyber security industry.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cyber security concepts, technologies, and trends. Ability to discuss technical details with clients and internal teams.
Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and convey technical information in a clear, understandable manner.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement them effectively.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
