A medium-sized Engineering company based in Lagos Nigeria, requires highly motivated individuals to join its workforce in the position below:

Job Title: General Manager - Sales

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall sales and marketing of Eunisell Interlinked Plc products and services to achieve projected revenue and growth plans. He/She will coordinate and provide leadership for the sales team to achieve maximum revenue and profitability growth in line with Eunisell Interlinked Plc vision and values. The role will also develop plans and strategies to expand the customer base and contribute to training and skills development for clients and sales team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and achieve agreed revenue target.
  • Expand the company’s clients while creating more revenue stream.
  • Provide technical services to solve clients’ production challenges and enhance production capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting business relationships with clients across the energy value chain, companies in the oil and gas industry, and relevant FMCGs.
  • Liaise with customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of company products and solutions according to customers’ needs.
  • Identify opportunities to grow new businesses with existing clients.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact to coordinate the resolution of service incidents and escalation of technical issues.
  • Manage multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines and fulfilling service promise.
  • Provide appropriate technical support and services to clients on all company products and services as may be required.
  • Understand the growing trends in the energy industry and advise as may be necessary. 
  • Initiates and coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate new markets. 
  • Carry out market research, competitor analysis, customer surveys, and advise management on competitive opportunities.

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the CEO.
  • Weekly/Monthly performance review and daily sales activities report.
  • Mentoring member of the Sales team.
  • Develop performance objectives and carry out performance reviews of staff.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with key decision makers at C-levels across the energy value chain, companies in the oil and gas industry, and relevant FMCGs.

What We Expect

  • Electrical Engineering or business background with suitable qualifications.
  • Excellent sales professional.
  • Minimum of 20 years work experience in Electrical/technical sales within 
  • Discos/ Gencos/oil & gas/Manufacturers and industrial sectors.
  • Use of MS Office tools and relevant sales management applications.
  • Good listener and ability to deal with confidential matters.
  • Well-organized and able to lead sales and marketing teams.
  • Initiative and creative ability.
