The Citadel of Impact, a religious institution, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lead Guitarist

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Part-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled, creative and dedicated lead guitarist to join our church worship team in Abuja.
• The successful candidate will have a strong musical background, excellent guitar skills, and a passion for leading others in worship through music.

Responsibilities

• Play lead guitar for Sunday services, special events, and other church functions
• Collaborate with the worship leader, music director, and other musicians to plan and prepare music for services and events
• Provide musical leadership and guidance to other guitarists and musicians
• Develop and implement guitar parts and arrangements for worship songs
• Rehearse and prepare music for performances
• Maintain and improve musical skills through practice and professional development

Requirements

• Strong guitar training and experience
• Ability to play a wide range of musical styles, including contemporary Christian music
• Excellent technique and improvisational skills
• Strong musicality and expression
• Ability to work collaboratively with other musicians and church staff
• Flexibility and reliability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be born again
• Experience playing in church settings
• Familiarity with worship software and technology (e.g. Ableton, Loop Community)
• Ability to lead and direct other musicians
• Experience with music production and recording is an added advantage
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Working Conditions:

• Performances and rehearsals shall take place in the church sanctuary or other venues
• May require evening and weekend work and sometimes in the morning

Salary
N60,000 per month.
