Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Securiy Architect to join our dynamic Information Security team.
The Cloud Security Architect will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security architectures that protect the organization's IT infrastructure, data, and digital assets.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles, experience with security frameworks, and a proactive approach to evolving security threats.
This role requires a strong technical depth in software development and cybersecurity disciplines.
What you’ll get to do
Develop and implement security architecture strategies and solutions to safeguard the organization's IT systems.
Design security measures for data protection, network security, identity and access management, and endpoint security.
Create and maintain detailed security architecture documentation, including network diagrams and security policies.
Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats and weaknesses.
Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to mitigate risks.
Collaborate with the risk management team to ensure alignment with the overall
Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and tools to enhance the security posture.
Lead the implementation of security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and identity management systems.
Ensure security solutions are integrated effectively with existing IT infrastructure.
Work closely with IT and business units to align security initiatives with business objectives.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security team members.
Lead security incident response efforts and post-incident analysis.
Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology advancements.
Continuously evaluate and improve the security architecture and practices
Participate in security-related training and development activities.
To succeed in this role, we think you should have
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a security architecture role.
Proven experience with security architecture frameworks and methodologies.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or TOGAF are highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and DLP.
Familiarity with cloud security, particularly in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
