Job Description

• As the Senior Key Account Manager, you will focus on growing and developing existing clients, generating new business by identifying, implementing, and executing new strategies.
• The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience in key account management and be adept at using data-driven insights to drive sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
• Identify and prospect potential clients, build a robust sales pipeline, and convert leads into customers.
• Build, develop, and maintain relationships with existing customers, serving as their primary point of contact.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to increase revenue and drive growth.
• Proactively engage with customers to identify opportunities for account expansion, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Understand Customers’ business objectives and communicate their requirements with internal teams, including Hub operations and Issue Resolution; to develop tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each customer
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure on-time delivery and order fulfillment is complete
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs the company sets through effective account management and sales strategies.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on key account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights to Management.

Skills and Qualification

• A Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, and other related fields. An MBA will be of added advantage.
• Demonstrable work experience in sales, focus on key account management and/or relationship management. Previous experience in FMCG, logistics, or general supply chain is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and drive sales conversations.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to extract insights from operational and performance data.
• Ability to take ownership and be methodological.
