Job Summary
The Head of Marketing & Sales will lead our integrated marketing and sales efforts.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing cohesive strategies that generate leads, convert prospects into new clients, and achieve ambitious sales goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
Marketing:
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives, highlighting the value proposition of our communication, media, film distribution, and cinema services. This may involve traditional marketing channels, trade shows, industry events, and targeted outreach.
Oversee all aspects of marketing, crafting compelling messaging and materials that resonate with potential clients seeking our diverse media solutions.
Manage and lead the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Stay abreast of industry trends and identify opportunities to connect with potential clients through effective marketing initiatives.
Develop and maintain a marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation for client acquisition initiatives.
Analyze and interpret marketing data to measure success and identify areas for improvement, focusing on lead generation for new client acquisition.
Partner with the sales team to ensure alignment on messaging and lead generation goals specific to client acquisition across our various media services.
Sales:
Develop and implement a data-driven sales strategy focused on lead generation, conversion, and revenue growth within the communication, media, film distribution, and cinema industries.
Recruit, manage, and lead the sales team, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management specific to selling our diverse media services.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential client companies.
Set and monitor individual and team sales quotas for new client acquisition across our communication, media, film distribution, and cinema services.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement within the broader media landscape.
Develop and implement effective sales training programs focused on selling the value proposition of our various media solutions through face-to-face interactions and presentations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master is a plus).
8 - 15 years of experience in marketing and sales leadership roles, with a demonstrably successful track record in client acquisition within the media and communications industry, particularly through non-digital channels.
Proven track record of success in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and driving sales growth within the media and communications industry.
In-depth knowledge of the communication, media, film distribution, and cinema industry landscape, with a focus on current client needs and trends.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to think strategically, analyze data effectively, and translate insights into actionable plans to achieve sales goals and expand our client base.
Experience managing and motivating high-performing marketing and sales teams focused on client acquisition within the media and communications industry.
A strong understanding of the current media landscape, particularly traditional media channels and industry events.
Proven experience negotiating and closing deals with potential clients within the media and communications industry.
Experience developing and delivering impactful presentations.
