Office Assistant / Cleaner at Unique Care and Support Foundation (CASFOD)

Unique Care and Support Foundation (CASFOD) is a children and women’s rights national non-governmental organization supporting the Humanitarian, Development and Peace (HDP) nexus. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Office Assistant / Cleaner

Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Dimensions

• General cleaning of all office floors
• Dusting and cleaning of all furniture (Bookshelves, Photo frames, Cabinet, Printers, and Computers, etc.)
• Emptying and cleaning all dustbins
• General cleaning of all doors and windows.
• General cleaning of all electrical gadgets (electrical switches, A/C Vents Television, etc.)
• Cleaning of all Carpeted floors where available
• Washing of all hard floors (tiles) and all corridors
• General cleaning and disinfecting of all toilets
• General cleaning and removal of cobwebs from all ceilings and corridors
• General cleaning of the designated areas for cleaning and litter control of the surrounding.

Key Areas of Accountability
Project Planning & Implementation:

• Supporting office Program activities (Training, workshop, Interview, etc.)
• Operating office machines, such as photocopiers scanners, and personal computers
• Deliver messages within the office space.

Position Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

• National Diploma in Office Management and Technology.
• 1 year of experience related.
• Good computer skills in programs including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work under pressure in challenging working and living conditions
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Excellent spoken and technical writing ability in English and local language, including report writing
• Ability to work effectively with other people both as an individual and as a member of a group
• Good administrative skills.

Reporting:

• Employees will report directly to the Operation officer with the Dot reporting system copying the HR admin, and providing regular updates on activities and challenges encountered during their engagement.

Benefits
