West Africa Vocational Education (WAVE) - Our client, a STEM Educator Institute, dedicated to providing 21st-century skills training to children and youths in Nigeria through engaging Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S.T.E.M) programs. Its programs cater to children aged 3-16 in schools.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Children's STEM Learning Facilitator

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• As a Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in empowering Nigerian children with hands-on, interactive, and project-based STEM experiences.
• Our programs utilize innovative tools such as Lego bricks, smart blocks, robotics, and programming, exposing students to the vast possibilities of the tech-enabled world and preparing them for the future. You don't have to worry about preparation, as we provide all teaching materials and tools required for each class.

The Programs:

• After School Enrichment Program, Camps, Co-Curricular STEM programs
• Robotics workshops in secondary schools across SW Nigeria.

Responsibilities

• Prepare resources for programs based on assigned topics and themes
• Pre-build models and organize relevant hand-out notes
• Manage inventory of class resources
• Conduct classes and workshops following provided training and format
• Supervise and assist children during classes and after class pick-up
• Prepare end-of-term report cards as required
• Ensure student/school registration targets are met for each program - Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers - Support business development activities to introduce the organisation's programs to new schools
• Collaborate with the Operations and Logistics team to plan, manage, and execute activities according to schedules

Education and Experience

•  Bachelor’s degree in Science or Education from a reputable University
• Verifiable experience as a STEM Educator/Facilitator within our Organisation’s target age group.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
