We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Admin Assistant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Customer Service:

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries and service requests.
  • Schedule appointments for fittings, consultations, and pickups.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally and promptly.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including contact details, service history, and preferences.
  • Manage the shop's schedule and ensure timely completion of orders.
  • Prepare invoices, receipts, and other necessary documentation.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking stock levels.
  • Handle correspondence via phone, email, and in-person.

Financial Management:

  • Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.

Shop Operations:

  • Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and well-presented at all times.
  • Coordinate with tailors and other staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of services.
  • Assist with marketing and promotional activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in business administration or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role; experience in a retail or tailoring environment is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset.
