Job Title: UI / UX Designer (NYSC)

Job Description

• As an UI / UX Designer (NYSC), you will be responsible for designing and enhancing the user experience and user interface of our digital products.
• You will work closely with softwaredevelopers team, to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that meet user needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with softwaredevelopers teamto define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance user experience.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for web and mobile applications.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the NYSC program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven UI / UX design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
