Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operational Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of agriculture, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This position is hybrid, requiring two days onsite each week, the candidate must be organized, proactive, and possess basic computer writing skills. Pay is N80,000, this role involves a mix of operational and project management tasks, research, drafting documents, and general administrative support.
Responsibilities
Operational Support:
Assist in the daily operations of Agriconnect, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
Maintain accurate records and databases related to projects and operations.
Handle logistical arrangements for both on-site and remote operations.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of operational procedures and policies.
Project Management:
Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of various agricultural projects.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Track project progress and prepare regular reports for management.
Assist in resource allocation, budget tracking, and timeline management.
Conduct site visits and assessments as required to ensure project alignment with goals and standards.
Research and Documentation:
Conduct research on agricultural topics, market trends, and best practices.
Draft and edit reports, proposals, and other documents as needed.
Ensure all written materials are clear, concise, and professional.
Compile and analyze data to support project decisions and strategic planning.
Administrative Tasks:
Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing office supplies.
Assist with financial tasks such as processing invoices and expense reports.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents.
Communication and Presentation:
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Prepare and deliver presentations on project updates and research findings.
Represent Agriconnect in a professional manner during meetings and events.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, clients, and vendors.
Travel and Field Work:
Travel to project sites, meetings, and events as needed.
Conduct field visits to gather data, assess project progress, and engage with local stakeholders.
