Admin Manager at Global HR Always

Global HR Always is an HR Support firm carrying out HR functions for and on behalf of our clients. We are recruiting for our client, a majorimporterand distributorof frozen fish in West Africa.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Admin Manager

Location: Oregun, Ikeja - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with government agencies and other external parties for the company’s interest.
  • Interface with the approved electric power providers to ensure power availability and prompt maintenance and repairs when required.
  • Ensure efficient and effective office operations on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure effective and efficient office management to promote a quality management system (ISO Standards).
  • Plan and implement preventive maintenance program for all company properties including heating/cooling, plumbing, electrical, carpentry interior/exterior maintenance, and grounds.
  • Manage the scope of the facility contract and ensure that all terms of business, Service level agreements, and KPIs are met.
  • Supervise the Facility Maintenance Admin in overseeing services such as: accommodation, maintenance, repairs, supplies, mail, and files.
  • Keep track of diesel purchases, consumption, and storage.
  • Monitor the usage and maintenance of generators.

Fixed Asset:

  • Adheres to guidelines for acquisition, maintenance, retention, and disposition of fixed assets and associated records.
  • Adds controlled and capitalized assets to the fixed asset database. Enter straightforward information (i.e., asset number, class code, acquisition date, simple description, and historical cost). May enter additional information as required.
  • Affixes inventory tags to designated assets and equipment. Replaces damaged asset tags.
  • Maintains perpetual inventory records by gathering inventory data, completing required forms/logs, and entering, deleting, and correcting inventory. May maintain pending fixed asset files.
  • Enters asset repair cost and utilization information to assist in replacement planning decisions.

Logistic Functions:

  • Ensures that the Facility Maintenance Admin Keeps up-to-date and proper inventory as well as documentation of all vehicles and performs daily checks on the same vehicles.
  • Ensures that the Facility Maintenance Admin coordinates the activities of drivers and transport staff.
  • Ensures that the Facility Maintenance Admin performs all other logistics duties as assigned to him/her by the management.

Qualifications
Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of previous experience as an Admin Manager in an organized firm.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

  • First degree in Business Management or any related discipline.
  • MBA and any related professional certification/membership will be an added advantage.

Skills and Competency:

  • Proficient computer skills, including the ability to prepare spreadsheets.
  • High leadership skills with an emphasis on teamwork and productivity.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels.

Salary

  • N400,000 monthly.
