Job Title: Physical and Health Education Teacher (Female)

Job Summary

• We seek a highly qualified and experienced Physical and Health Education Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will teach physical and health education classes to students of various ages and abilities, designing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that cover various physical activities, sports, and health-related topics, using different instructional methods and resources.
• Organize and lead physical education classes, sports practices, and wellness-related activities to help students develop their physical skills, coordination, and overall fitness.
• Assess students' physical fitness, skills, and health knowledge, and provide regular feedback to help them improve and achieve their goals.
• Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and any health-related concerns or incidents.
• Collaborate with other faculty members, particularly those in the science and counseling departments, to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to health and wellness education.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, research, and best practices in physical and health education.
• Contribute to the overall development and enrichment of the school community, including organizing and supervising extracurricular sports teams and activities.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical and Health Education or a related field.
• Teaching certification.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching physical education or coaching sports at the secondary level.
• Demonstrated success in creating and implementing effective lesson plans and assessments.

• In-depth knowledge of physical education curricula, sports techniques, and principles of health and wellness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and provide effective instruction.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities to manage physical education classes and sports activities.
• Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop innovative lesson plans and activities.
• Proficiency in the use of relevant sports equipment, fitness technology, and educational resources.
• Patience and adaptability to cater to the diverse physical and learning needs of students.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
