Job Title: Nigeria Marketing Manager

What You'll Do
This hire will be a marketing and communications generalist and will support the Africa team in: Brand development, Product adoption and Artist Marketing:
Maintain a portfolio strategy to support Head of Africa on regional objectives and performance KPIs such as streams, views, subscribers, app installs, ROI etc.
Brand presence: Identify opportunities and plan initiatives to leverage brand presence in publications, events, conferences and other media vehicles (both Organic activations and Paid);
Media investment: Identify, propose and support investments in local media, including hiring PR, media, influence marketing firms, with the approval and support from the Head of Africa
Artist Marketing: Create, execute and manage strategic campaigns for catalog, new releases and priority artists;
Commerce: Support in the local relationship with main DSP's, identifying opportunities for songs in playlists, thematic campaigns and best practices in each platform.
International artists: Support growth and identify opportunities to promote international artists (US, Diaspora) in Nigeria and Africa
Content production: Support local content production for social and other marketing and brand campaigns;
Partnerships: Propose, support and develop creative partnerships with brands, DSP's and publications
Social and Market Education: Manage our local networks, support CRM routines and recurrent educational materials (tutorials, FAQs, roll out of new features);
Intelligence: Generate reports with insights about performance, local context, relevant research on consumer trends and competition;
Engage in events, concerts, panels and conferences

Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in marketing or advertising roles
Experience in advertising, public relations, creative campaigns for artists
Relevant experience in client management
Experience with digital music platforms and digital music best practices
Knowledge of the media landscape in Nigeria
Advanced English
Preferred Qualifications:
Advertising, marketing, communications or similar degrees
Passion for music, and improving outcomes for independent artists
