Job Brief
We are currently recruiting an elegant and diligent sales associate to join our team.
The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in promoting and selling skincare and beauty products. In this position, you will serve as the first point of contact for all walk in customers, you will welcome customers and help them select and recommend the products that best suit their needs, as well as recommend available products.
Your core responsibility is to engage customers and close sales to help the brand meet its goals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales:
Welcome and serve customers providing an excellent in-store experience at all times.
Guide customers by ushering them to appropriate sections in the store based on their needs and interests.
Be proactively engaged in upselling and maximize sales opportunities in order to achieve individual sales target and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Upsell where appropriate
Follow policies and procedures for markdowns and sales events
Record sales by creating and updating customer profile records in the sales software.
Offer incentives to get customer details
Communicate special promotions and instore activities to customers.
Customer Service:
Assist customers in a timely, efficient and courteous manner delivering superior customer service
Deal effectively with customer complaints by liaising with the sales supervisor when necessary
Liaise with the business development to fulfil all bulk customer orders in a timely manner
Representing the Brand:
Demonstrate strong brand and product knowledge and provide expert recommendations.
Understand and communicate the Dang! Lifestyle brand aesthetics, brand philosophy and lifestyle to the customers.
Ensure to be up-to-date knowing promotions, product launches, industry trends and competitors.
Adhere strictly to the dress code
Store Operations:
Maintain the shop floor and visual display high standards, complying with the brand’s operational guidelines and merchandising procedures.
Maintain store appearance and ambience
Ensure that the restrooms are cleaned at when due
Balance cash registers with receipts
Execute all opening and closing procedures
Inventory Management:
Stay aware of inventory levels and communicate low stock to sales supervisor participate in stock count activities.
Perform other duties as required
Technical Skills:
Intermediate knowledge in MS Office suite majorly excel
Intermediate knowledge of enterprise resources planning (ERP) software
Standard entry skills
Excellent Communication skills
Good networking, prospecting and closing skills
Ability to influence and negotiate
Ability to own tasks and take responsibility for outcomes
Strong work ethic
Education and experience
1-3 years of relevant experience working in a commercial or retail store
B.Sc / HND in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or a related field
Behavioral Competencies:
Good looking, preferably a female. Must be willing to take initiative, work autonomously and tackle complex situations.
Must have exceptional time management and organizational skills including the ability to meet external and internal deadlines.
Must demonstrate the confidence and ability to relate with customers in an assertive and professional way
Remuneration
Monthly pay is from N80,000 - N100,000 per month.
