Overall Function
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of Lecturer (MBA).
The successful candidate will hold a minimum of a MBA and will contribute to the academic mission of the department by delivering innovative high-quality lectures, engaging in research activities, and supporting student learning.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Coordinating:
Manage the MBA programme to align with strategic objectives.
Coordinate logistics for programme activities like masterclasses, events, and workshops.
Facilitate communication between faculty, staff, and students for smooth operations.
Support faculty management, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation.
Teaching:
Deliver MBA courses.
Develop and maintain innovative course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, and assignments.
Foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
Research:
Conduct scholarly research.
Publish research findings in reputable conferences and journals.
Collaborate with colleagues and students on research projects.
Service:
Engage in departmental and university service activities.
Participate in academic committees and contribute to the development of departmental policies and programs.
Assist in student recruitment and outreach activities.
Professional Development:
Stay current with advancements by attending conferences, workshops, and training sessions.
Continuously update teaching methods and course content to reflect industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications and Skills
A Ph.D in a Business-related field. An MBA is also required, including a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field as well.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
A passion for teaching and the ability to engage students in the learning process.
Demonstrated potential for research and scholarly activities.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages and software tools.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Industry experience.
Research publications in peer-reviewed journals or conferences.
