We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Location: Irrua, Edo

Job Summary

• The services of a Chief Security Officer are required by the Institution, to oversee Security services.

Job Description

• Plan and ensure execution of security arrangement as required by the University.
• Supervise and control the work of security personnel.
• Assist the University Management in maintaining law and order.
• Implement security related decisions/measures reached by the University for Staff, Students and members of the University Community from time to time.
• Ensure protection of lives and property within the University.
• Maintain liaison with the Police and other security agencies regarding law and order and Investigation of criminal cases affecting the University.
• Assist the University Hostel Administration in the eviction of unauthorized occupants.
• Assist the fire service staff in attending to fire Incidents and other calamities on the Campus.
• Any other security related duty assigned to him/her from time to time by the University Management.

Qualifications

• Should be a retired Police Officer not below the rank of Superintendent of Police or its equivalent in the Nigerian Army or State Security Service.
• The candidate should have a proven record of integrity, and discipline and must be physically fit.
• Experience in security management in a tertiary institution is an added advantage.
