Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF) is a non-profit, non-governmental national organization established in Nigeria in July 2014 with the aim to improve the lives of people through effective and efficient humanitarian and developmental assistance in communities where such supports are essentially necessary within Nigeria. Through international and national networking, LPF provided humanitarian and developmental assistance to individuals, families, schools, Health facilities, and communities in more than twelve (12) states within Nigeria regardless of their ethnicity, political and religious affiliation.
LPF fundamentally intervenes in multi-sectoral humanitarian activities majoring in Protection and Nutrition mainstreamed Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) interventions. Other activities include stand-alone Programmes on Nutrition, Protection, Food Security & Livelihood, Education, and Cross-Sectoral areas.

Job Title: Information and Communication Officer
Locations: Borno, Adamawa and Yobe (BAY)

Duty Description
This Officer will be responsible for all Information and Communication Management for the Programme.
For collating and Documentation of Human-Interest Stories, Photos, Programme MOVs, and other demanding Information Communication documentation.
Job Description
Contribute immensely towards media, digital, and communication as part of advocacy development in all programs
Agrees on media and communication as part of advocacy issues and together with the relevant program staff identify advocacy and communication issues related to LPF's work in Nigeria.
Support Program Officers in building Networks to carry out advocacy on livelihoods, Market Access, and Right to Be Heard issues in Nigeria.
Design and produce training and educational materials on media and communication for marketing the LPF program.
Develop work plans, individual development plans, and regular reports to the Program/Operation Manager
Support program partners in media and communications-related capacity building and ensure that this is integrated within the program
Supports in identifying potential new strategic media partners for LPF and developing strategies for working with them.
Have responsibility for the monitoring and supervision of media as part of advocacy-related partner activities and plans in LPF by ensuring that these are in line with LPF programs strategy in Nigeria
Document and publish LPF’s learning by contributing articles briefing notes, media publications, and case studies for LPF's campaigns.
Support LPF staff and partners in getting relevant messages across to target audiences within and outside the organization on major activities.
Frequently update our LPF in social media outlets (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, etc.) and ensure we disseminate information about our program on a weekly basis
Develop and sustain relationships with the media and the civil society groups in Nigeria to feed into LPF's advocacy work.
Ensure adequate media coverage for all program activities, functions, and press releases/press statements
Liaise with active allies to identify and help them use rare opportunities to drive LPF's corporate advocacy issues in various media outlets in Nigeria.

Minimum of 2 - 5 years of humanitarian aid experience.
Multiple language skills desirable.
Graphics technical competencies required for this position
High level of experience in developing information and communication related technical tools guidelines and systems.
Qualifications and / or experience in professional information and communication-related fields.
Strong assessment, evaluation, analysis, and strategic planning skills.
Knowledge of Humanitarian /Human rights / Refugee Law.
Basic knowledge of contract employment and experience and skills in recruitment and selection.
